Vera Howard Davidson

Mrs. Vera Howard Davidson passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY, at the age of 71. Vera was born July 1, 1950 in Leslie Co. the daughter of the late, William "Bill" Howard & Viola Farler Howard.  Vera was employed by the Hyden Nursing Home and was a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. She enjoyed flower gardening, was an avid reader & she loved cooking dinners for her family. Vera especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an active member of the Rockhouse Baptist Church. Vera was preceded in death by her cherished parents, loving & devoted husband James Davidson & beloved son, Marty Davidson, granddaughters: Tiffany Williams & Malia Davidson, two great grandsons: Kyson Pennington & Easton Begley, two sisters: Vickie Huff & Velma Horn.  She is survived by a beloved daughter, Susanna Davidson Lewis & husband Jordan of Big Laurel, KY, a beloved son, Kenny Davidson & wife, Lorrie of Berea, KY , one beloved daughter-in-law; Rhonda Davidson Napier, one beloved brother: Vernon Howard of Wendover, KY, three beloved sisters: Violet Feltner of Hyden, KY, Verna Chappell & Harold of London, KY, Vivian Phillips & Charlie of Sonora, KY, six treasured grandchildren: Ryan Davidson & Chelsey, Zachary Perry, Jordon Brock, Houston Brock, McKenna Davidson & Raegan Davidson, special niece, Terra Davidson, special friend, Terry Collins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home at Hyden, KY.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. - Monday, January 10, 2022 at the Funeral Home Chapel at Hyden, KY

Place of Interment: Davidson Family Cemetery at Hyden, KY
