Watson F. Baker

Watson Baker (79) of Demossville passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Ft. Thomas. He was born in Leslie Co., Ky on October 19, 1944 son to the late Grant F. and Rittie Caudill Baker. In addition to his parents, Watson is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Baker, brothers Linz, Ruben, Happy and Lonnie Baker, sisters Opal Farler, Ruby Gail Wells and Mary Belle Jones.

Watson is survived by his daughter Sherry DeWald, sons Jason (Patty) Baker, Terry F. (Donna) Baker, stepson Matthew Rogers, brother Grant Baker Jr., sister Geneva Wilson, grandchildren Trent Baker, Corey DeWald, Rachel DeWald and Jude Rogers.

Watson retired from Ford Motor Company, was a member of U.A.W. Local 863, farmed and loved Bluegrass music.

Visitation will be held 11am-2pm Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will follow at 2pm, also at the funeral home. Watson’s final resting place will be at Baker Family Cemetery in Demossville, KY. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 or the American Cancer Society 4540 Cooper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45242.
