Wayne Caldwell

Wayne Caldwell passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital. He was 63 years old. Wayne was born June 5, 1958 in Hyden, KY., the son of Willie Caldwell and the late, Evelyn Adams Caldwell. Wayne had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation he was a former coal miner and owner of Wayne's heating and cooling. Wayne was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed bee keeping, reading, keeping journals, Bible study, playing guitar, watching westerns and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. 

Wayne was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Evelyn Caldwell, grandparents, Cecil and Goldie Adams and Dale and Sinia Caldwell. He leaves the following relatives surviving, his loving and devoted wife, Teresa Baker Caldwell, Yeaddiss, KY., beloved father, Willie Caldwell, Yeaddiss, KY., one cherished daughter, Christy Caldwell Smith & her husband, Oria Michael, Yeaddiss, KY. and treasured granddaughter, BreAunna "Bre- Baby" Smith. Five brothers, Doug & Venita Caldwell, Hyden, KY., Clay Caldwell, Wooton, KY., Gary & Tina Caldwell, Yeaddiss, KY., Glen & Kimberly Caldwell, Wooton, KY. and Scottie Caldwell & Billie, Buckhorn, KY. and two sisters, Jossie & David Smith, Yeaddiss, KY. and Robin & Tony Wooton, Wooton, KY. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral: Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Rev. Billy Joe Lewis

Interment: Caldwell & Smith Family Cemetery, Yeaddiss, KY.

Pallbearers: Scottie Caldwell, Clay Caldwell, Gary Caldwell, Doug Caldwell, Glen Caldwell, Donald "Duck" Joseph, Barney Smith, Harold Turner and Larry Fugate
