THE OBITUARY OF MR. WILLARD TROY "SKILLET" NAPIER

      Mr. Willard Troy "Skillet" Napier born December 21, 1956 departed this life on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Mary Breckinridge A.R.H. Hospital in Hyden, Ky. He was 64 years old.  Willard was the son of the late Mack & Bonnie Young Napier.  He had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co.  He was a former employee for Shamrock Coal Co., Teco Coal Co. & was a self-employed trucker. He was affiliated with the Thousandsticks Methodist Church. Willard enjoyed going to the beach, mechanic work, music, Nascar, enjoyed trucks, telling stories & making people laugh. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Willard was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Gloria, sisters, Diana Melton & Linda Collett & brother-in-law, Pat Hoskins. Survivors  include his loving & devoted wife, Stacy Smith Napier, two beloved sons: Jeremy Napier & wife, Nikki of London, Ky., and William Kyle Napier & wife, LeighAnna of Hyden, Ky. & siblings, William Napier & wife, Gracie, Thousandsticks, KY., Bobbie Deaton & husband, Dale, Versailles, KY. & Mary Ann Hoskins, London, KY. brothers-in-law,  Richard P. "Dickie" Melton, Hyden, KY. &  Alson Collett, Hyden, KY.,  & two treasured grandchildren, Kylie Rose Napier & Zachary Paul Conner Napier, beloved dog, Khloe. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Rev. Brian Hubbard & Rev. Kevin Napier

Interment: Napier Family Cemetery, Thousandsticks, KY.

Pallbearers: Jeremy Napier, Paul Melton, Brooks Lewis, Michael Dewees, Marc Duff, Joey Caldwell, Greg Collett, Trenton Rojem & Bill Brock.

Honorary Pallbearers: Brian Hubbard, Dean Rice, Richard P. "Dickie" Melton & Alson Collett

Visitation: Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 12:00 Noon until time of funeral at the funeral home chapel
