Mr. William Leddington born May 31, 1952 at Hyden, KY, the son of the late, Roy and Gladys Howard Leddington. He passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at his residence at Stinnett, KY. He was 69 years old. William had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. William was a veteran of the U.S. Army. By occupation he was a retired coal miner. He was a devoted member of the Stinnett Gap Church of God at Stinnett, KY since 1976. William was a former Sunday School superintendent at the Church. William enjoyed sharing his testimony to others, reading and studying his Bible, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
William was preceded in death by his cherished parents, Roy and Gladys Howard Leddington, his beloved sister, Violet Sue Leddington, his beloved brothers, John Henry, Larry and Eddie Leddington and his beloved father-in-law, Mr. Dee Roberts. He leaves the following relatives surviving; his loving and devoted wife, Bonita Roberts Leddington, Stinnett, KY, cherished daughters, Christy Griffie and husband, Billy, Stinnett, KY and Candace Leddington, Stinnett, KY, cherished son, William Travis Leddington, Stinnett, KY, treasured grandchildren, Hannah Fields and husband, Nate, Caitlyn Wilkins, Hunter Griffie, William Parker Leddington and Lydia Hall, treasured great grandson, Riley Fields, beloved brother, Eugene Leddington and wife, Rhonda, Stinnett, KY, beloved mother-in-law, Virgie Gross Roberts and a host of treasured nieces and nephews. Also a host of other relatives and friends survive.
