Mr. William Doug "Bulldog" Madden was born July 12, 1953 at Hyden, Kentucky. Doug is the son of the late, Wilmer Madden and Edith Joseph Madden. Doug passed away Tues. May 29, 2024 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Doug was a life long resident of Leslie County. By occupation he was a retired truck driver. He worked for Glen Baker Trucking Co. Doug was a member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, Kentucky. Doug enjoyed being outdoors, riding his side-by-side, fishing and he loved spending time with his family.
Doug is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Wilmer and Edith Joseph Madden and cherished daughter, Deanna Madden Baker. He leaves the following relatives surviving; his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Betty Williams Madden, Yeaddiss, KY, cherished son, Wesley Madden, Yeaddiss, KY, two brothers, John Madden and Stanley Madden both of Peru, IN, son-in-law, Larry Baker, three treasured grandchildren, Kellie Collett Baker, Jesse Baker & Ally and Jacob Baker and Kristin and four treasured great grandchildren, Ashton Collett, Brooklyn Collett, Brayden Collett and Raylene Collett. Also a host of other relatives and friends survive.
