Zelma Bowling

Mrs. Zelma Bowling, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center. She was 74 years old. Zelma was born April 10, 1946 in Leslie Co., KY., the daughter of the late, Bradley Smith & Margaret Sizemore Hoskins. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. She was a loving wife, mother & grandmother. Zelma enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching, music, being outdoors, taking pictures, facebooking & especially enjoyed spending time with her 3 special sisters, grandchildren & family.

Zelma was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Edwin Hoskins, grandparents, Willie & Rebecca Sizemore, sister, Donna Hoskins Roark & brothers, Barry, Stanley & Gary Hoskins. She leaves the following relatives surviving; loving & devoted husband, David Bowling, Thousandsticks, KY., 3 beloved daughters, Tammy Cornett (Jim), Essie, KY., Kathy Cornett (Steve), Texas & Kendra Conway (John), Berea, KY., 2 beloved step-sons, Michael Bowling (Danielle), Stinnett, KY. & David Bowling, Leslie Co., KY., 1 beloved step-daughter, Angela Bowling, Ohio, 3 special sisters, Barbara Collett (Ancil), Chavies, KY., Debbie Smith, Helton, KY. & Lisa Bailey (Dale), Essie, KY. & treasured grandchildren, Joshua Cornett, Aaron Cornett, Jason Cornett, Melissa Morgan, Tina Morgan, Tracy Chappell, Justin Chappell, James Cornett, Daniel Cornett, Brittany Cornett, Mark Cornett, Steven Cornett, Little David Bowling, Lexis Bowling, Cole Bowling, Kaylee Bowling, Nathan Gonzales, Samantha Gonzales, Bella Gonzales & Elea Gonzales. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive. 

Funeral: Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Denver Brock & Ralph Brown

Interment: Bowen's Creek Cemetery, Essie, KY.

Visitation: Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
