Ralph Brown Mr. James Asher was born on April 2, 1942 in Warbranch, KY. and departed this life on December 8, 2011 at the age of 69 years. He was residing in Warbranch, KY. at the time of his passing. James was the Son of the late Tom Asher and the late Marie Osborne Asher and the Husband of the late Maybelle Brock Asher. By occupation he was a Saw-Mill Employer. He was a lifelong resident of Leslie County. James enjoyed gardening & hunting. He was Preceded in Death by: Parents: Tom & Marie Osborne Asher; Wife: Maybelle Brock Asher; Brother: Walter Asher. Mr. James Asher leaves the following relatives surviving: Brothers: Ballard Asher & Cora of Roark, KY., Burley Asher of Roark, KY., Donald Asher of Arjay, KY., Roy Asher & Opal of Arjay, KY. and Ernest Asher of Roark, KY.; Sisters: Opal Asher & Bentley of Warbranch, KY. and Irene Brock of London, KY.; A host of treasured nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services for Mr. James Asher will be conducted on Sunday ~ December 11, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Rocky Point Holiness Church of Warbranch, KY. with Rev. Roy Napier, Rev. Teddy Collett and Rev. Ralph Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Asher Cemetery in Roark, KY. Visitation will be on Saturday ~ December 10, 2011 at the Church beginning at 6:00 P.M.
