County of Leslie Lifting Youth(COLLY) — COLLY specializes in early detection and treatment for dental care and other health problems. They also started the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in Leslie County which provides a new book in the mail to newborns through children of 5 years of age every month. Their After School Club creates support and a culture of healthy living with Leslie County Elementary Schools. This has been a program that the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home has supported throughout the years.

Feeding America Kentucky Heartland's Backpack Program — This program was established to help alleviate childhood hunger and provides nutritious, easy-to-prepare foods that are sent home in backpacks on Friday afternoons to ensure children have something to eat until they return for breakfast on Monday morning. Colonoscopy research — Through efforts of the Leslie County Coroner's office, funds are now provided through the local health department by means of grant money to provide colonoscopies to those who qualify.
